Slide Making a difference to Members & their families The needs of every one of our Members, and their families, is very different. It’s important that we work with them to provide support that matches their wishes, abilities, learning styles and needs.

This has its challenges but it is clear that the rewards can be great for the development and independence of our Members.

We believe there are a number of distinct areas on which we believe will deliver impactful change.

Slide Improved Member Understanding We will clearly articulate the individual capability and aspirations of our Members, using digital technology such as IROC. Increased Youth Provision We will extend our youth provision to meet the growing needs of the youngerJewish population with additional needs. Expanded Programme We will develop a more diverse programme of activities available to those we support, as well as a wider range of training and employment opportunities. Operations Transparency We will ensure everyone involved understands our operating framework including what the mental capacity act requires of us. Member-centric We will place members at the centre of our plans giving them as much control and choice over their lives as possible. We will create a ‘Team around the Member’ that details significant others in their lives and how they will be involved in supporting choice and self-determination.

Slide “Livingness to me is that I know my child is safe and has been given the opportunity to grow as a unique person. Without Langdon this would never have happened.”
