Jweb is the only free online directory of resources for members of the Jewish special need community throughout the UK. It’s a one of a kind place for the Jewish learning disabilities community to find out what services are available, what events are happening, what is of interest on our noticeboard, and what news there is in our community.
Mencap works in partnership with people with a learning disability, and all our services support people to live life as they choose. Mencap is the leading voice of learning disability. Everything we do is about valuing and supporting people with a learning disability, and their families and carers.
The Board of Deputies of British Jews exists to promote and defend the religious and civil liberties of British Jewry.
As the community’s democratically elected cross-communal organisation, the Board connects with Government, media and wider society, providing a unique means through which all British Jews can be heard and represented.
Chabad-Lubavitch is a philosophy, a movement, and an organisation. It is considered to be the most dynamic force in Jewish life today. Motivated by his profound love for every Jew and spurred by his boundless optimism and self-sacrifice, the Rebbe set into motion a dazzling array of programs, services and institutions to serve every Jew.
The Judith Trust works for all those with both learning disability and mental ill-health to identify and close the gaps that they experience in their lives (especially those of women and the Jewish community). The Trust works to enable their full integration and inclusion within society by developing new thinking, research and best practice.
Jewish Volunteering Network (JVN) is the one-stop-shop for Jewish Volunteering in the UK – helping match Jewish volunteers to charities and organisations according to their age, experience, interests, availability and location.
