On Thursday 23 November 2017, 130 property agents and industry leaders gathered at Mishcon de Reya’s Holborn offices for a Monopoly-themed fundraising event in aid of Langdon.

Fourteen teams played an express 45-minute version of Monopoly throughout the evening. OakNorth Bank supported the event and provided a banker for each table. After two rounds of Monopoly and an interval game of “The Price is Right”, led by Knight Frank’s James Pullan, Aston Chase was awarded the gold trophy. Other teams included Fusion Students, JLL, Square Metre and Investec but after some dubious property investments, it was Cheyne Capital who took home the wooden spoon prize!

Langdon Vice-chairman Nigel Henry said, “A competitive, yet highly enjoyable evening with London’s best property players focused on winning the Langdon London Monopoly Awards. Perhaps there was more focus on deals around the tables than on them.”

The evening raised £60,000 for Langdon, which will help the charity continue to transform the lives of Jewish people with learning disabilities.
