Langdon held its first Young Langdon fundraising event last Thursday at the Village Hotel in Elstree. The Quiz Night catered to young people aged 25-35 and was hosted by a brand new committee consisting of: Sam Castle, Zara Landesberg, Sophie Henry, Laura Harris, Joel Alterman, Nicky Sugarman, Dan Rickman and Matt Keston. With the help of Langdon’s fundraising team, Over 150 people enjoyed an exciting quiz, and the competitive spirit was rife.
Co-chair Zara Landesberg said
“It is such a pleasure to be a part of the Young Langdon committee, whilst we were planning the event I began to learn more about the wonderful work the charity does. I think it’s amazing that 150 people left our event knowing exactly who Langdon are and what they do”.
The event raised over £7,200 which will go towards supporting young Jewish people with learning disabilities to live independently.
