YOUTH WORKER (London) – PART TIME

salary £9.10 per hour

We are currently looking for a creative and innovative part-time Youth Worker to support our young people in our youth clubs and holiday schemes. The role will be based in Edgware; however, travel may be required to support and attend various outings and events.

FINANCE ASSISTANT (London) – PART TIME

salary £18,000-£21,000 pro rata

We are currently looking for an Finance Assistant who will be responsible for providing support to the Finance department, focusing primarily on the purchase ledger. The post holder will report to the Financial Controller and will work alongside the Assistant Management Accountant.

Key responsibilities of this role include; maintaining the purchase ledger, logging invoices, preparing supplier statements, preparing payment runs, processing staff expenses, processing credit card expenditure, maintaining and reconciling petty cash and assisting with bank reconciliations.

ASSISTANT SOCIAL WORKER (London) – PART TIME

salary £18,000-£20,000 pro rata

We are currently looking for an Assistant Social Worker who is passionate about helping others and ensuring we maintain a quality service provision. The role will be based in Edgware; however, travel may be required to meet prospective clients and conduct assessments.

This role will support the Head of Admissions in the facilitation of transition pathway for new admissions and contribute and participate in meeting the needs of existing Langdon members. Promoting independence, choice and control is at the heart of this post. This is an exciting opportunity to work with Langdon members to maximise their potential for independence.

BUDDY PROGRAMME – VOLUNTEERS

We are looking for volunteers to join a new Buddy Program. The objectives of the program are:

• To support a befriending relationship to increase confidence and self-esteem
• To help reduce isolation for some Langdon members
• To provide emotional support and improve emotional well-being

We are looking for Buddies who can commit to regular sessions on a 1:1 basis and who have the following attributes:

Reliable, patient, good listener, good communicator, non-judgemental and empathetic

This volunteering role is for 2 hours a week.

Langdon will provide a person-centred induction and training.
