We set up Langdon Outreach Services to meet the growing demand for elements of our service. Our Outreach service enables people to commission Langdon’s services directly using either local authority, self directed support funding, or their own or family resources.
Whether it is support to develop independent living skills, find employment, travel independently or establish a social life, Langdon Outreach can help. We have a team of trained, experienced staff who can offer Langdon Outreach members support in their own home, local community, university or college.
As members pay only for what they use, they can make their Self Directed Support payments go further. Many people on Self Directed Support want to use a number of support providers for different aspects of their condition and the Langdon team is happy to work with others to ensure our members receive all the help they need.
Langdon Outreach services can also support young people with learning disabilities in mainstream Higher Education and Further Education, sensitively and discreetly. In some cases, funding for this support may be available via the university or college.
