Langdon Bakes Challah for Shabbat UK

Langdon members participated in Shabbat UK by holding various Challah Bakes in Manchester and London.

The Mancunian Challah Bake which took place at Langdon College was a great success, with over 30 Langdon members, staff and parents joining in the floury fun! Manchester based member Shoshi Sholem said ‘Everyone in the room greatly enjoyed Langdon’s first challah bake. There was an amazing atmosphere and I enjoyed interacting with everyone the challahs came out amazingly – I can’t wait to eat them over Shabbat!!’

Julie Ashton, Langdon House Manager who helped organise the bake said ‘What an amazing challah bake we had! It brought Langdon community together. The atmosphere was amazing and made me feel proud to be part of this fantastic community.

In London Ahavas Yisrael Synagogue teamed up with Langdon and Langdon Brady to hold a Challah Bake in Edgware. With over 50 participants the bake was a great success. Langdon Brady member Charlotte Archer said “I liked the Challah Bake, it was really fun and my challah was really yummy!”
